Restore First Health is seeking a Revenue Cycle Director to join our Finance Team. This is a hands-on role, responsible for overseeing the entire revenue cycle process and contributing to the strategic and operational growth of our practices. The Revenue Cycle Director will lead efforts to optimize revenue, ensure compliance, and foster transparent progress through data-driven dashboards and metrics.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire revenue cycle process for multi-site wound care medical practices across GA, FL, NJ, PA, KS, and TX.
- Lead medical billing and coding activities with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and reducing errors.
- Develop and execute strategies to optimize revenue, streamline operations, and align with Local Coverage Determinations (LCDs) and payer policies.
- Monitor and manage accounts receivable (AR), ensuring effective collections and timely reimbursements.
- Collaborate with the clinical and operational teams to create dashboards that provide visibility into KPIs and progress in billing and revenue activities.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to resolve billing issues and improve payer relationships.
- Leverage expertise in Athena EMR and healthcare technologies to enhance billing workflows and automation.
- Analyze financial data related to billing, collections, and reimbursements, and present actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Train, supervise, and support billing and coding staff, fostering a culture of excellence and compliance.
- Stay informed on changes in Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and other payer guidelines, as well as regulatory and coding updates.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field.
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in medical billing and coding, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare billing regulations, coding systems, and reimbursement processes.
- Demonstrated expertise in creating dashboards and KPIs for revenue cycle performance tracking.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving results and operational improvements.
- Experience in advanced wound care and durable medical equipment (DME) billing is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with Athena EMR and medical billing software; advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Credentialing experience a plus.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a dynamic healthcare environment.
