We are seeking a Senior Accountant to provide support to our Finance team!
 

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing key accounting functions, including account reconciliations, month-end close, financial reporting, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles within a healthcare environment. 

  • Prepare journal entries and generate supporting documentation. 
  • Prepare and review general ledger account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness. 
  • Lead and support month-end and year-end close processes. 
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements in compliance with GAAP. 
  • Manage journal entries, accruals, and adjustments. 
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate coding and allocation of expenses. 
  • Support external audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries. 
  • Manage various sites including but not limited to credit card, and bank sites to manage cash transfers and payments. 
  • Maintain documentation and internal controls to ensure compliance and accuracy. 
  • Identify process improvements and recommend efficiencies in the accounting workflow. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required). 
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience. 
  • Strong experience with account reconciliations and general ledger management. 
  • QuickBooks experience strongly preferred. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel  
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles and best practices. 
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. 
  • Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus. 
  • Intercompany experience – muti entity reporting.
