Restore First Health is looking to add a full-time Medical Assistant to its rapidly expanding advanced therapy wound team. This position will require the successful candidate to travel with our mobile wound team to patient residences and skilled nursing facilities and use our unique wound therapy to treat chronic non-healing wounds. This position will serve patients in the Houston area and depart from the Cypress, TX office. This position will require the successful candidate to travel and collaborate with various partners of the Patient Care Team to deliver patient care. Driver’s license and a clean driving record are required for this position. Our one-of-a-kind protocol has amazing outcomes for our patients, and we are the partners our patients and other physicians call to finally take care of those meddlesome life altering wounds!
The ideal candidate will have a strong medical background and be passionate about providing quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform clinical duties, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting providers during procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Travel to patient homes to accompany the Community Liaison or provider.
  • Complete client intake in the company’s EMR.
  • Aid provider in set-up of client treatment.
  • Assist in exceptional communication with clients.
  • Maintain wound care supplies and equipment inventory.
  • Deliver supplies or equipment to providers or clients as needed.
  • Remain up to date in knowledge of this position by taking part in educational opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy
  • Knowledge of basic life support techniques
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Understanding of physiology
  • Experience in medication administration
  • Prior experience in a medical practice
Work Environment:
  • The company is a mobile clinic, and this position requires a valid state driver's license.
  • Must be able to drive distances further than 50 miles.
  • Individuals are frequently required to perform standing. walking, bending, and lifting up to 50lbs.
  • Individuals are required to maintain a professional appearance during business hours.
  • Dress is business casual or clinical scrubs

Pay: $18.25 - $21.00 per hour
