Restore First Health is seeking a Revenue Cycle Director to join our Finance Team. The Revenue Cycle Director will be responsible for overseeing the entire revenue cycle process for Restore First Health. The Revenue Cycle Director position is a hands-on role, responsible for managing medical billing and coding activities and developing strategies to optimize revenue and reduce billing errors.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the entire revenue cycle process for our multi-site wound care medical practices in various US states including GA, FL, NJ, PA, KS, and TX
2. Manage medical billing and coding activities to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
3. Develop and implement strategies to optimize revenue and reduce billing errors.
4. Coordinate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to resolve billing issues.
5. Monitor and analyze financial data related to billing, collections, and reimbursements.
6. Train and supervise billing and coding staff to maintain high standards of performance.
7. Stay updated on changes in healthcare regulations and coding practices.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business, or a related field.2. Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification preferred.
3. Minimum of 10 years of experience in medical billing and coding, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
4. In-depth knowledge of healthcare billing regulations, coding systems, and reimbursement processes.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
7. Proficiency in medical billing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
8. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic healthcare environment.
9. Experience with Athena EMR a plus.
10. Credentialing Experience a plus.
